Alex hates his job, but he does it so that he can help his father get out of debt. Mia was waiting for her blind date and the date didn't turn out very well. Alex was out with his sister when she tells him that she got confused on the Sci Fi book that he was writing and that he should write short romance books. Mia and Alex met at a bookstore where she ran into him and he offered to buy her books and took her for coffee.
Alex is keeping a secret from Mia and his brother Caleb. He has a computer science degree. He is a writer and writes under the pen name Lexi. Mia is a bookaholic, she reads at least a book a day. She helps her sister out as much as she can. Alanna is Shelby's daughter and Mia's 4 year old niece. Shelby is pregnant and Mia's older sister, she wants to see Mia happy. Kendra is Alex's younger sister, she is an editor. Caleb is Kendra and Alex's younger brother. He is a single father, going to medical school.
This is an amazing read. The book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I loved that I found this book very hard to put down and I can't wait to read more books by Claire.
